Ghost Stories by AestheticDevil Ghost Stories by AestheticDevil
Remember the facination of spooky stories when you were a child?

Child referenced from Princess Genevieve Reading 5 by =Tracie76Stock

Done for :iconchildrensillustrator:'s August theme - Ghosts, had lots of fun and boy is it nice to be back with the brushes!

I can totally feel that childhood draw that you were talking about in this painting. You've really captivated the haunting mood!

I hope you don't mind, I featured it in my journal [link] If you'd rather not be there just give me a heads up and I'll remove you. Thank you and keep making great art!

Lovely use of colors and watercolors (that feels kind of weird to say, haha). I especially like the feel and texture of the background. Well done!

The colors you chose to contrast on each other work magically here!!! :+favlove:

What colors did you use in the background? It is gorgeous.

Thank you!

For the background I used Prussian blue and burnt umber, (with some black for darkness in the blue), working wet in wet.
